Animals
The first and second grade learned about animals, both farm and wild animals. The students learned different type of farm animals like cows, horses, pigs, and chickens, as well as wild animals like lions, monkeys, eagles, and sharks. We also learned how to classify these animals. We talked about if the animals had legs or wings and the way they move. For example, we learned what animals walk, run, fly, swim or slide. The students had fun talking about their favorite animals and learning to describe them.
