The Earth and Water
The most recent unit the students are learning is about the earth and water. The earth consists of air, land and water. On the earth there are lakes, rivers, seas, plants, and ice. The students are learning the seasons and the weather in each. We also talked about conserving water and how we need it for drinking, watering plants, washing our hands, bathing, and brushing our teeth. Also, water is a liquid that can turn into ice when it is cold and turn into vapor when it is hot. Water can accumulate in the clouds and fall to the earth in the form of rain or snow. We must protect our earth.
