Landscape
Another topic the students studied was landscapes. We learned the differences between coastal and interior landscape, as well as humanized and non-humanized. Some examples of a coastal landscape are islands, sea, oceans, sand, and beaches. Interior landscapes include rivers, forests, plains, lakes, and mountains. A few students wrote about a trip they took with their family and we later translated it into English. We searched for photos of beautiful landscapes to help understand the vocabulary.
